First up, welcome to the forum, and well done on finding the search

Halfords should do them, If you look in the manual it'll tell you exactly waht bulb it is you need, or in halfords next to where all the bulbs are, theres a book, find your car, find what light needs replacing, and again it tells you exactly what you need :)

Where are you able to find 2 12v 5 watt bulbs?
I have got the same problem on my punto! (n)

R5W

they are single base pin the size listed in the book doesn't state that BTW (for that spec of bulb you can get single base pin (-ative comes from the metal shroud) or double where it has 2 base pins one + and the other -

best thing to do is take one out and wave it at the chap in the local motorfactors and say one of these please 12v 5 watt (much cheaper than halfords)

i think its this one from memory but check first

just wanted to add. It's worth replacing bulbs as pairs. My old golf could tell if you didn't and left the warning light on.

Wolfram ? Didn't knew it was for tungsten (never heared) Is this a comon term in english (not my native language neither) like quick silver for mercury ??
Trying to improve my english a bit...

Regards, Bernie

Often caused by bulbs that are not the same wattage ( W rating..) as the factory bulbs

188: punto mk2 was bad for this

Brake bulb was not the UK standard of 21W

I've had this error twice on my Punto Evo which has LED rear sidelights. On one occasion where all my bulbs were coming on as expected, I've had water droplets on the rear sidelight LED (EVO) cluster and connections, which when cleaned and dryed, resolved the error message.
My current issue is subtle and difficult to spot - when I brake, the rear driver's side LED (EVO) sidelight strips flicker off for a brief moment as the brake light comes on, but on the passenger side it remains steadily on. On closer inspection, I see the indicator bulb very slightly illuminated whenever the brake bulb comes on.
I haven't fixed it yet but I expect it's going to be either rain or jetwash water which has got in the back somwhere, somehow. Will update asap...
