see thats what i think its done about 6k miles and it broke! im sorry but im shur no matter what you do driving wise you shouldent be abel to brake it that soon i meen iv seen the gp as a lerner car nere were i live amagin how much greef that would go through!


i would personly kick up the biggest fuss asking why it broke that soon!

I think he might of just got a duff gear box, there are tones of people on this forum that have new air intakes and alloys and all sorts of stuff and they havent just blown up (tuch wood :p )

lol thats tru, well wered i dident wash my car 4 like 4 weeks (shock-horror) and when i fianly did my car rewarded me we more mpg! iv been getting rather smashing mpg since then (y) (there is obveously some scienticic reason why, but still)

it loves a wash it does :p it gets loads of my atention (my gf doesnt like that :D)

My GP treats me better when I look after her. I give her a wash twice a week and a wax or polish once a week. I treat her to new things and in return she performs well and does me proud. Since me and my g/f split my GP has been alot happier as as she gets alot more attention and alot more money spent on her. My ex called my car a slag.

I honestly cannot believe how much more money I have since splitting with my G/F. It's brilliant.

I'm so sad

I dont know much about puntos lol.

I know they changed the lights and put in updated engines in 2003 but thats about it :D

Gradej did u have to pay for the work on your car :confused:
 
There is no way in hell you should have been able to kill a box-fresh gearbox in 6.5k even if you drive like a muppet, otherwise driving school cars would never be seen on the road, they'd all be in garages having their gearboxes replaced. A hole in the box probably means a bit of gear sheared off, or something was left in the box during manufacture, the bit then travelling round the box until it wore a hole in the casting.
I'd have a word with citizens advice bureau.

Those were pretty much my exact words to him at the stoke meet
 
The 17" wheels don't help but it would be the differential that took the hammering not the Gearbox itself. Funny thing is I had exactly the same on my mk2b sporting (6th gear sheared off and punctured a hole in the side of the gearbox). Was fixed under warranty in 2 and a half days with a brand new gearbox, Despite everything being modded.....

Think there trying to s**g you over m8.
 
totuly i meen thys boy races with there 50k miles saxos gear boxes dont just go even though they treat there car like c-rap!
