Hey everyone, i am new to this forum so sorry if this is in the wrong place or if it has already been covered. I am currently looking for a used 1.9 sporting GP. Problem with looking for used is that i cant get the options i want. I have seen that people have said that you cant retro fit cruise or climate controll but i cant see any topics about rain senors. Is it possible to reto fit these as i think its a really neat option. Also what about reverse parking sensors?

On a side note i saw a GP at my local dealer (warwick) today with 8,000 miles on the clock 56 plate with sunroof and climate controll for £10,795, sound fair??? I think its a bit of a rip off and it should be closer to 9k
 
Can you get the fiat specific reversing sensors fitted (i.e. not aftermarket) i dont actaully have my GP yet so i dunno how the standard ones work, i assume they are tied into the dash LCD? Anyone got/had the rain sensors fitted after delivery?
 
My 1.9 had 1.5k on the clock 6 months ago on a 56 plate, paid £9,500 for it from a FIAT dealer (TJ Vickers, Telford.)
 
no to rain sensors as for parking sensors yeah if you want to drill holes in your bumper or have them dampled with black spots
 
so just to clear up i cant have the arin sensors :( but i can have the reversing sensors. Does any one know how they display info to the driver? through the LCD??? I am guessing that a fiat dealer can fit them. As for the black spots, can i not have them in body colour?

Ffoxy was that the asking price they wanted or did you haggle them down to that? if so i should be able to get the one i explained above for close to 9k

Ring up mate, they nearly always have them in, i had mine from there.

Mine was £9999 used. Would have been £9700 cash but i part exchanged.

It was 56 reg, 6 months old (now nearly 12), chemical grey, standard spec with just over 6K miles. It was a fair price at the time, could have got one cheaper elsewhere but it was the colour i wanted.

The reversing sensors don't show anything on the display, you wouldn't be looking at it anyway when you're reversing. You get an audible pulsed signal which gets quicker as you approach an object until it becomes constant at 300mm (y)

My sensors are body coloured, but they came as standard on my G.P.

tj vickers have a 1.9 M-JET in carribean orange, white, red and black. take your pick. lol

I've just picked up an 07 plate 1.9 diesel sporting with 6500 miles on the clock for £8295. It's finished in the metalic blue colour which i think looks really good. We initially wanted the red but i have to say the blue is cool.

I still cannot believe it, i've had it HPI checked and it's all clear. It's also in spotless condition with one small stone chip on the front bumber.

I even managed to get 6 months tax and a tank of diesel.

Has anyone else had a good deal like this or is it the going rate. The car was in a Peugeot dealership so that's all i can think why it was so cheap. My local fiat dealer wanted £9999 for a 56 reg diesel sporting with 12000 miles on the clock..

I'm well chuffed....

The players out there who will give it the LCD is pointless. BALLS is it lol, you can see where the obstruction is exactly!

OMG!!!!!! i will give you £8000 for it lol!!! That is the cheapest deal i have seen! Do they have any more???????
