With many other car manufacturars tinting rear windows as standard these days, and liking the look i.e 207 GTI and the Clio 197 and actually the panda 100hp looks great. I'm thinking about getting mine done, but not really sure!

i paid £160 for all 7 windows even the small ones i got the fronts tinted a little more to make the transition between back and front look more even.but there is many shades to go for.it enhances the car so much.think theres a photo of my car in the thread about colours of gps showing how good it looks it also keeps the interior cooler too.....:D

Rich being in the same area as me, where did you get your tints done?

I cheated mate, my dealer got a guy to come in and do them for me as part of a deal they had going on. There are a few places in Cov that get good reviews but they arent cheap. I remember when i was ringing round they were talking £200+ for the back window and the rear quarters, stupid.

Rich

I've got to get mine done..specially as my car is black, hopefully it will look beautiful :D. but its quite pricey....chappy wanted 150 for the back windows and rear screen.

It would cost you more in petrol, lol.

£25 a window sounds too cheap but if it works then who is complaining. The only thing you can do is ring round and play them off each other.

only problem is...there is all of two local window tinters, the 150 one, and somebody who does show cars....220 for the rear windows...ouch. either way its quite painful figures....cant wait for my student loan to come through :yum:

Yeah not cheap. To be honest i dont think £150 is that bad. Obviously thats only the case if you have got the money in the first place, lol.

Student life, i remember it well.

Yeah I agree, but I've seen one example of their work i wasnt impressed with...few bubbles in it. but nobody else has complained.

should try diy... its easier than you think, the boot ones hard and impossible, but the the rear side ones should be ok to do....

cost me £4.99 :)

i think someone on here with a gp did his rear sides him self to a excellent finish.

Oh right i see, you dont want to spend that sort of money on something your not 100% happy with.

Right, well i've booked my car in to have it done!

Costing £150 but is being done at a place with a very good reputation, they do a lot of main dealer work.

Think im going for medium tint:

Good stuff, you will have to get some pics up when its done. That tint looks very similar to mine.

Rich
