Styling Tinted Rear Windows

yeh but once again its travelling...they are in Southampton!

Course yeah, i forgot about that. You may have to just bite the bullet and travel a little bit.

Just had my rear windows tinted 30% tints.

Very nice job indeed from a guy in Hinckley (Midland Tinting).

£110 for the rear and both back windows or if your wanted £150 for the lot.

They look pretty good. I was thinking about maybe having a light tint put on my front windows to sort of blend it in if you like but im not sure.

I think less is more tbh fella.

Will put some pics of my 30's up when the weather clears up.

Also has anyone who has had the tints done had any issues with the (little black dots) blended edges of the window? Not sticking correctly for example?

Ive noticed that some of them look a slightly different colour if you get what i mean but you wouldnt notice unless you were looking for it.

Also, how long does it take for the radom bubbles to clear?

I never had any bubbles on mine at all. Ive only had 2 problems, the first one, i had smears on the rear window when it was first done but it just needed a good clean on the inside. The second im not even certain is down to the tints and that an absolute load of little white dots that look like paint. When i so loads i mean literally hundreds, very tiny but they stand out like a sore thumb when its clean, :bang: .

initially i had some spots on my windows but they disappeared within weeks i was told they would part of the bonding process...........;)

Well got them done today, and am very pleased with the results exactly what I was after:

I was a bit friskyer and went for 30% lol.

Not making Sunday as im working  oh well lol

why didnt you get the front 4 done just a shade or 2 darker it looks more even.i think its too abrupt looking just getting the back 3 done........and before you tell me i know the laws on it but extremely little chance of getting stopped by the police.i have stopped by the police ounce routine stop and my car was scrutinised by them at the scene of the accident i was in and not 1 mention of it.its older cars and the boyracers that get stopped for it.not new puntos.it just looks better if they are all done to a certain degree imo.

Have mine booked in - not long now :D Think I'm going with 30% for the front & 35% for the back. If I do I will have to be prepared for constant police attention though, guess they have to waste time meeting their targets somehow :bang: Oh yeah obviously let your insurance company know, luckily I wasn't charged an extra premium but some of my mates have been.
