This is to anyone that has been there and done it.

Two things, firstly, do you have to use a speaker adaptor or is that only if you want to fit 17cm speakers? Im assuming that if i wanted to replace the standard 16.5cm ones with aftermarket 16.5cm ones they would just drop straight it. Secondly, what RMS did you guys go for, i see them ranging from 35w and i dont know what i should be looking at.

And for anyone that is interested from my other thread i think i have finally decided on a Sub & Amp package.

They wont drop straight in to the existing pop rivet holes. You will need to re-drill.

You will need to attach spade connectors or if your buying the speakers new they should come with a wiring kit

I went for 85w RMS 200 watt max out on my puppies

Thanks very much for that. I dont suppose you know what the wattage is on the standard amp within the headunit do you? I dont know if you can get clipping still with standard speakers, if you can then i dont want to go OTT.
