The wife just did that to our GP. Its now stuck on the highway, waiting for a tow truck. What's the likely damage?:bang:

nothing
worst damage is a cloged fuel filter, and thats hard to pull off. just fill her up, prime it. and start.
petrol or diesel?
if it is diesel you will need to bleed the system but if petrol then nothing!
can she not tell when an Orange light comes on... AND pings at you!

I don't think Fiat diesels have needed bleeding after running empty since the Tipo. I've ran 2 Marea diesels dry
and all I needed to do was stick a few litres in, turn the key a few times to prime the system, then start. Just like after changing a fuel filter.

That sounds very familiar, women can be very cunning like that
when i use the cinq, it always seems to be empty, so ill put half a tank in. next time i come to use it, its empty again.Similar threads
