Firstly sorry if this answered somewhere but have spent nearly an hour looking and can't find any help.
Last night the steering wheel control for my phone and IPOD failed!!! The track selection doesn't work but the volume buttons do!! SRC button works!!! Is this a dealer job or will it return, have turned ignition on and off a few times. Anybody had this?????

The only thing you can do is take the 'Negative' terminal off the battery using the 'quick release' clip.......leave it disconnected for 2 minutes.....snap it back on and see if that has corrected everything.....if not then it's dealer time....!

I had exactly the same problem and it required a new clock spring to resolve it. Time to visit your dealer.

No problem. I would love to say not but who knows, some people have had faultless cars and some havent. I had a few pretty big niggles when i first got mine but now they have largely been sorted it seems ok (touch wood).

On the drive to the garage all the controls came back
Got there and the electrician bloke off sick so came back home!!!! Need wait to see if it happens again

This is so strange, that is exactly what happened to me too. If its carries on that way it will definately happen again and the next time it probably wont come back.
