Technical Remote window operation

Easy way to check would be to lock and deadlock your car with a window down.

Then reach in to try and open the car from the inside. If its deadlocked it will not open.

I have to say though I think you will find you have deadlocks. Least I do with my 1.9mj MY 3 month old un lol

Just tried the window thing and it does not work

I have the 1.2 Active and the deadlocks work.
I find I press the lock button (one flash) then press again (2 flashes) and its deadlocked. You can also hear the lock "clunk".

Yup I back this up. Sat in my 1.2 Active "poverty" model, pressed the fob once to lock, then pressed it twice quickly, result? I'm locked in.

EVEN PRESSING THE UNLOCK BUTTON ON THE DASH DOES NOT WORK

DO NOT ACTIVATE DEADLOCKS WHILST INSIDE YOUR CAR WITH LOW FOB BATTERY!!

:p

Also, you can activate deadlocks by turning the key left (activates the deadlock), then right in the lock (locks car from outside)

hi folks,

the wife has an 08 1.4 bravo active, and she has the remote windows features on it, but my GPS certainly does not have it!!

it does have deadlocks though, but it is a little tricky to get the activation of it right!!

It states in advert; How many times do switch the ignition off, take the keys out and then realise you've left a window open ?

Dont need that as you can operate windows after key out of ignition for 30 seconds under body computer powers down.
