Anyone else seen these?

I was at my local garage earlier (Thames Slough) putting my 100HP in for some servicing & I walked past one on the way home.

Well... it looks very sexy! I checked on the Fiat website & they are a limited edition with metallic paint, a bodykit, alloys, spoiler & the Blue&Me system (so you can use your phone via Bluetooth & also plug in your MP3 player using the car stereo system). The one I saw was black/grey with a funky go faster stripe along the whole of the car & down the sides. Generally I don't approve of those but it looked quite good.

All for £7,795. I was impressed!

Apparently the offer is only around until 31st July but the Fiat website doesn't give any other information on the car (i.e. engine size) except what it says here. Anybody else got any information? I'm very curious (which I shouldn't be really seeing as I already have a lovely car)!!!

i think that it is only an active but has had those parts put on it, if i am correct because it does not have the fog lights on it.

It certainly is a great deal. Im assuming they are aiming this at younger drivers given the spec so i would guess at it having the 1.2 engine. Diesels arent appealing to most young drivers if they want something sporty so i doubt the 1.3 will feature and the 1.4 will probably be high on insurance and would cost more than £7,795.

Would never swap a Panda 100bhp for one thats for sure.

I think what attracted me is the paint job.

How shallow of me. ;)

Who knows - maybe I'll get something similar on the 100HP. Or is that just overkill? :D

The 1.4 8v (77bhp I believe) is only 1 insurance group higher than the 1.2. Know which one I would choose if I had the choice. Still as flat as a fart but a whole lot better than the 1.2.

I forgot all about the 8v, that is highly possible. I would choose the 1.4 8v as well over the 1.2, more potential if nothing else.

Yeh the one I saw was liek that orange one but grey - with the black spoilers, sideskirs, etc. and a black stripe. It also had the grey alloys.

saw one the other day, the vinyl stripes look awful.

In my opinion of course!

they are country wide ie up here in scotland too.must be a dealer network edition although you say they look awful its extremely eye catching, maybe they look bad on an active or sport. better if it was on a sporting i think:)

I saw one of these at the Keswick Fiat garage. The limited edition is basically a 1.2 Active wih the Sporting/Active Sport side skirts and spoiler, colour coded wing mirrors, 15" alloys, Blue & Me and the stripes.

You can buy the striping kit off ebay for £100..

Question: The exaust.. Is it just the bolt on tailpipe module, or a full exaust?

I havent seen it yet but im almost certain it will be a bolt-on tailpipe, i doubt they will go to the expense of having a full exhaust fitted because if i remember rightly these are all created at the dealers and not by Fiat. Or at least they were before they became an official limited edition.

I don't think it's the Sporting side skirts - the 'stripe' one I saw had aftermarket sideskirts and an aftermarket spoiler, if I remember correctly. Maybe the dealer had just put them on for a customer.

I could be wrong though...

Here's al ink to a dealer advert for it.
