hi i have a gp 1.9 130bhp sporting and i have got a creaking noise from the bodywork on uneven ground or pulling onto some ones driveway. it also doe sit if i accelerate or brake hard! garage said that was something to do with the doors has been in three times now and said they have sorted it everytime but they havent. Anyone had the same problem or any idea what is causing it?

Thanks adam

From what you have described I think I have the same problem. Seems to come from the passenger side. Turn your music up and you cant hear it (y) . I am going to wait till its in for a service before i get it sorted (well try to). Its due in the end of September.

yes mine started on passenger side but has now started on drivers side, is really annoying me dont know what else i can do as bin back to garage three times!!! Am i entiled to anything?

Thanks Adam

I get this all the time, garage said it was the headlineing and the trim around the a pillars. 3 times it's been back and it still does it.

The only freebie I got from Research Garage in Nuneaton was a dent in the boot lid when they were trying to fix the leaning boot, which still pisses water in the boot when you open it.

Great job lads!

Really, about as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking compitition!:bang:

Or you can as ive posted before.

Rub some WD40 round the door seals.

The noise your getting is from the rubbers moving up on down which causes a squeaking, creaking noise. Not a perm fix as only lasts a month or two but it works.

Ooops forgot about yours :p

So three possible solutions - one of them's bound to work!

(I haven't done anything about my creaking yet - can't be bothered - leaving it for first service)

I'm having exactly the same thing. I'm having my dealer trying to adjust the door locks, as the painting around it also seems to be slightly scratched, as if some other metal piece ticks against it every now and then. For me it's on the driver's side (left that is for me ;) )
