hi guys as you can see im new to this forum here are a couple of pics of my car standard and also what im gonna do to it

your plans are black alloys, and lexus style lights then? sound good, you got the 1.4 petrol sporting? are they your only plans?

yeah it is the 1.4 16v well to be honest i dont think there are many things to do with a 1.4 i am having the boot build in the 2 sides of the boot thats about it really but suggestions are welcome

thought about any performance enhancing mods? few people have had the re-map by angel tuning, maybe a custom exhaust, induction kit etc.

i didnt think you could get the 1.4 remapped plus the car is under warrenty so i dont want to void it if anything happens

im sure you can. it doesn't affect your warrenty in most cases. other mods only effect that section of the warrenty as well.

Although you would technically be invalidating your warranty by having a remap it's extremely unlikely that Fiat would disocver that you'd remapped it.

The most that would happen is that they'd reset your ECU to it's standard settings if they needed to access it for any reason. As far as I understand it when the dealer plugs in after a remap the diagnostic tool brings up an error, they hit reset, the ECU is back to factory standard and they're none the wiser.

If that happened then you'd need to get the remap re-applied which is apparently free with Angel Tuning, so I'd go with them if you were worried about that eventuality.

i think i may consider he re-map then considering i can get it done well thats the next mod then i was also thinking about a body kit but i dont think there are any nice subtle ones about i do like wide arch kits but not many about as far as i know

I've seen pictures of a few body kits online and none of them have really jumped out and grabbed my attention.

If there was something along the lines of a toned down Abarth body kit then I might consider it. The wide arches do look good and you'd be able to get wider wheels / tyres :slayer:

there will be stacks of body kits available soon enough i reckon, as soon as it starts to come down in price and becomes more popular then companies will start developing some more.

as for mods,

headlight bulbs?
indicator bulbs?
paint the calipers?

a few in expensive worthy mods.

Nice car. The ideas you have look good to me. Im obviously a fan of the black wheels because of mine. As far as the re-map goes the gains arent as big on the petrols but it will give you a better delivery i would imagine. In my opinion tinted windows are a must on a red GP, it looks .

another 10, maybe 15hp, probably with induction too.

That sounds about right, i think its around 10bhp and 10lb-ft of torque from the re-map by itself.

have emailed angel about this they do not currently do a remap for the 1.4 16v but hope to get 10-15 bhp extra out of it when avalible from what i hear, unless this has changed in the last few months

ahh well looks like the remap is out the window then

i can not remember the members name but he was from angel tuning i think and posted some figures a while back and prices for the different re-map although he may not have finished testing for some of the models!
