these ones really have impressed me:
changed all bulbs which now look a lot better, nice sound system, tinted windows if you haven't got them already, i have an induction kit which does not improve bhp greatly but sounds great.
have done the rest below in my sig, none have gone wrong, yet!

Agree with the bulbs, they make a massive difference for such a small modification.

My main modification is obviously the painted black wheels, i think they look great but thats personal preference.

had a good look at yours in the carpark at the remap...... I think it looks good with black wheels... don't think it would work if it was any other colour than red though!

did you do them yourself? what did you use?

Well i have:

wheels
bolts
indicator bulbs
Custom boot neon
custom switched boot strobe
switched in car neons
exhaust, being fitted friday :D

none gone wrong (y)

Thanks mate. I agree with you, i would never have even contemplated it had the car not been red, dont think it would look right.

No i didnt, a friend of mine owns a garage that specialises in paintwork and wheel refurbishment so he did them for me, as well as the calipers. The wheels arent your standard finish, instead of being laquered afterwards it was mixed into the paint in order to steer clear of a glossy finish as that is what i didnt want. The calipers are good old hammerite (y) .

What tailpipe are you going for with the exhaust, really looking forward to seeing it when its done. Toying with the idea myself.

how u gettin on with the exsuast. weres it being fitted. i ask because theres no joints in the system. it has to b cut.

has any1 lowered there ride yet

Am I the only one who hasn't modded? Just out of curiosity what age groups do you guys fall into? I'm starting to think I'm too old to be "hip" enough to mod my car..

urm? hip? lol. im coming up 22. its not the fact of age, its more that i don't like to be the same as every1 else. i like to make mine diffenet.

I think age definitely plays a part - seems like most GP owners (on this forum anyway) are in their late teens/early twenties and with lots of money to spend!

Re: latest mods to GPs...Stilo windscreen washers!!

How about it then guys, can Stilo washer jets be modded onto a GP as GP washer jets are pants and seem unadjustable!
Stilo has 3 jets per side!! (y)

Im sure there are plenty on here who havent modified their cars. Im 20 so i fit in with the others really. For me its about my car being different. When i bought it i said i was going to touch it (deadly) and then i saw more and more GPs on the road so i had to make mine different, make it stand out.

i hope you will be taking a bit out of your back bumper to put that back box in? cz otherwise i don't think it will look great but may be wrong.

Interesting point, hadnt thought about that. Is it only the Sportings that have a cut out as standard (even though that wouldnt even be big enough for what you have lined up).

ill just hang it below the bumper for now. if it looks pants then ill cut a rectangle out and move it upwards (y)

RichC should be done by the end of the week. delivery permitting :p
