I have the above with the 8 button steering wheel controls but not the blue me version can anyone tell me how to get this to work with my mobile as so far i have only managed to get the phone to find my car but it says its unable to connect.

I think its in the voice controls... you set the car up first (its in the manual) and then set your phone to search, then the car will put up a pairing number on the multifunction display...

How do i access voice controls as i have nothing in manual for bluetooth except see pamphlet which i never had.

Early gp 1.9 sporting didn't have blue&me just this bluetooth with ipod connection in the glove box..... no windows sign on steering controls

hhmmm dunno what you'd need to do then, 'cause I press the windows button and talk to it...

maybe a trip to the dealer? ask for a software update? you may get it for free if you're nice ;).....

first engine off ignition on.
press button steering wheel with phone logo or SRC button
select settings
select pairing
then press SRC or phone logo button
the car will then display connection PIN number (make note of it)
bluetooth must be switched on for your phone
use your phone to search for divices, you should then see MY CAR
when prompted enter the PIN
you must then wait until it says connecting be patient
you will then be asked if you want to copy your phone book to the car
select ok if you want to
Some phone require you to send the address book by using your phones contacts menu system
you should now be able to make calls.

As for IPod connection you will need the Fiat interface kit part 50901536 - the usb point in the glovebox is for dealer use only - different to blue and me cars.
I hope this helps you

Thanks for the advice but still no joy with bluetooth so have booked car into dealers for a week monday going to have leaky tailgate sorted at the same time.
