Get them fitted properly, changing the srings yourself can be dangerous if you dont really know how and dont have the proper equipment

its not that hard, you just need a decent socket set, axel stands, spring compressors and possibly a torque wrench.

and the usual spanner set

hey i have a 57 plate grande punto with 17 inch alloys on and i was wondering if ya no ow much id be able to lower it without it scraping

its a DIY job for any body with half a brain, there is a guide in the guides section for the GP mate

Definatly DIY job. I got quoted £40 per corner so followed the guide on here and done it no probs with 2 mates.

Hi, I own a Grande Punto 1.28v and have recently bought some tasty 18's (low profiles). Im at the stage now were I would like to get my car lowered. I have been looking at Eibach, Spax and also Apex springs, but can't decide on which ones would be best. Im also unsure on how low to go! Can anyone advise me on this, Please.

Eibach 50mm... I got APEX ones got £99... the hight is good but the ride as shocking so then went for Eibach ones.

Much better. Worth £30 more!

Ive just looked on Larkspeed website and they have Eibach Extra low Sportline Spring kit. £136. Are they the right ones??

Anyway I can always get induction kit give me that little bit more !! Have you got them springs yourself?

Yes i do and induction kit wont help your gearbox lol

An induction kit will just help you break the gearbox to be honest! The smaller engines gearboxes struggle anyway let alone with an extra horsepower lol

PS i also run Eibach Sportlines, very impressed, get them.

Is it a good idea then to go with the Eibach 50mm springs, will i feel the road more and will it be unpleasent drive?? I just want to know is worth doin?
