when i picked the car up two weeks ago the salesman very kindly gave me some diamondbrite glaze (stage one and two) so seeing as the car was due a clean and it has been a lovely day i thought i would give it ago... no before pics though unfortunately.

here goes then...

first of all rinsed the whole car off thoroughly just with good old plain cold water from a hose pipe...
then i washed it with meguairs gold class shampoo using the two bucket method and a washmitt
leathered it off
left it to dry a bit more in the sun
applied stage one of the diamondbrite glaze
applied stage two of the diamondbrite glaze over the top of stage one
removed the glaze with a microfibre cloth and buffed up to a pretty impressive shine...
waxed the wheels with meguairs gold class wax
dressed the tyres with auto glym instant tyre dressing.

would never pay the money for it, but its not bad for free... at least as good as meguiars gold class liquid wax imo, but a bit more work required.

comments good or bad welcome.

wow. its like a mirror. thats pretty impressive. unfortunately i dont have the patience to do all that. i have just given mine a wash though. carribean orange looks rather crap if its not clean. it goes a dull peachy orange color which its a bit dirty.

well, i think you should at least try it once mate. i would love to try detailing a carribean orange one! :) fancy coming to mine? lol

erm, the whole thing from fiat costs £299... i think, but that includes the interior ones aswell, and i think its all done for you and you get some shampoo also. no idea how much the stage one and two is to buy seperate.

whats the stage 3 then?
