going to affect my warranty?

i know that the suspension warranty will be void

but, what if say my front bumper falls off? :p or something out of the ordinary, will they just say "fitting new springs has done that" and be complete :tosser: 's over it?

Re: is lowering

In theory you should be fine, it should only effect the part itself. In practice they could be awkward and blame it for any problems linked to it (or that they can justify it being linked to).

Your best bet would be to ask the service manager at your local dealer and see what he says. Only way to be certain.

Re: is lowering

I asked the service guy who deals with my car and he said itll just void the warrenty on the springs and shocks and not the rest of the car. I would check with the garage you use first though as some can be more mod friendly than others

i suppose it depends on the dealership... if you're on good terms then you should be fine, but if they're a bit funny about things, then just check to be certain! :) good luck matey! :D

sounds great mate... :) keep us updated on how the ride quality changes as i might look into getting some of these if its not too bad, but i expect it will be! :(

but surely the sporting is factory lowered?

think 20mm?

only springs i can find drop it 30mm, so youd only get an extra 10mm on what you have atm

nevertheless it is gonna look

day off today, sitting around waiting for the courier to deliver the alloys.

posting some pics up later when its all done (y)

hmmm... yeah, but there is still a massive gap! there was a picture of a chemical grey GP Sporting lowered (from another country and forum) and it was perfect!!!

Yeah i was looking at PI's as:

one: their base is not too far from me, well i go to college and walk past it everyday

two: they're cheap :p

good choice mate! :) have you had a look at the novitec website?

yeah, had a look (y)

i was looking for an exhaust.

They're quite expensive though!! :p

stuff will soon trickle onto ebay as the GP becomes more popular. ive been following the different mods available since the release, only in the past few months more and more stuff has become available!

It will also affect your insurance, if the car gets nicked and then recovered, you might claim for damaged locks and ignition, the garage tells the insurance company that the car has been modified, insurance company tells you to P*** off. finance company says keep paying the money sonny. If you claim they will find you out, if you dont claim then you still lose:slayer:
