Styling Will lowering affect my warranty?

all depends matey... if you know a half decent mechanic then it should be a decent price, if not then it will be alot higher. i have paid two different people £50 for my ignis and corsa, and their work was spot on... best thing to do is give a local garage a quick call and ask how much to fit the springs. :)

how are you gonna fit the springs? any idea of how much it would cost?

i get them fitted for free!! (y)

from the same bloke who just fitted the new alloys for me.

i just "whack it" up on the ramp and have the use of pretty much any tool.

and air guns. oooooo :p

so i was thinking of getting these cobra ones.... http://www.potn.co.uk/p1270561.htm

should it be a straight swap with the old spring with no extra work doing? and will it lower by 35, or is that the non sporting ones that get that much? mines a 1.4 sporting and i cant imagine any other cars in the range being any higher.

i wouldn't have thought so. the only thing that might go wrong is the shocks, but that would be something that could pack up at anytime... they're obviously put under strain from having a lower spring fitted, which in turn causes the problem.

i wanted to go for coilovers as i dont really want to lose all of the ride comfort, as in my corsa and ignis it was like driving a go kart and your arse felt the same way too... :p

oh rite, my corsa was absolutely rock colid, road humps at 2mph max and the ignis wasn't much better!!!!! :( and the megane was just rock hard to start with! lol
