anyone else ever suffered from this? mine jammed last night, but it was too dark to really see anything... had a quick look today and don't really know what i am lookng for. the rail near the door seems to be releasing, but the one near the centre console seems to be sticking... any ideas?

just nipped it down to the dealersip and the 'manager' for the workshop looked at it and said yeah it needs booking in... never even tried to move it or had a closer look under the seat, then when we went back into the showroom he said 'over there' haha, i couldn't believe it... what nice customer service skills he has!!! i've booked it in for next tuesday, so i have to put up with it until then...

any help very very much appreciated, thanks.

I had this - lived with it for months! 2 minute fix, but worth getting someone who knows what they're doing to fix it.

I see problems are starting to rear their ugly heads out.. ;)

haha, well, i've sorted it kind of... it was a screw that had got wedged in the rail, finally got it out with a screwdriver. i think i have sprained the mechanism though with me pulling on the rail harder and harder to try and get it to move. it slides fine now, but when i move the seat so people can get in the back then it dont slide back without lifting the bar again... annoying, but at least it works now. still going to take it to fiat to get them to look at it.

the interesting this is, is that the screw that was trapped isn't one from the car... well, i cant see any missing, and it is completely different to any i can see in the car! weird.
