Technical Multi-Jet Remap?

Re: Remap in Yorkshire

do they tune the 1.4 sportings yet?

Give us another month Mike, we have been up to our ears developing some new options for VAG which we also hope to release later this year on Fiats ;-).....

Anyhows... Group discounts apply from just 2 cars upwards. To be honest, I would rather not do more than 5 in one day as it detracts from the time we like to spend on each vehicle. I know some companies bang them in left right and centre then fire them out as quick as possible, but I don't want anyone leaving without having the full job done, of diagnsotics, testing, road testing etc, no matter how much discount we give and definently no-one leaves with any fault lights on!

2 cars - 10% discount
3-4 cars - 15% discount
5+ cars - 20% discount

 I have 2 questions:-

Will the remap damage your car in any way????? Short or long term?

Also whats to stop the fiat peeps noticing your ECU is off and resetting the bugga while its in for a service>?:yuck:

I do wanna have this done but im buggered if im paying for a remap to have the shagga destroy my car or be reset on the first service

Hi,

No, it wont damage your car. Basically life expectancy of the cars engine is in the hands of the owner. If you thrash the t1t5 off it day in day out and have no respect for it, it will not last as long as if you didn’t. If you have more power from your engine and you don’t have to work it so hard to get it to do what you want, you actually cause less wear. In other words, both power and economy come from efficiency - the more efficient an engine is, the less wear is put on it.

If the dealership revert the car to standard we actually upload your modified file for free, we just charge a £25 call out fee to come back out to you - covers our fuel to a degree, which we think is only fair

Re: Remap in Yorkshire

im in also :)
if we can arrange a location that is within a 100 miles of the midlands.
wouldnt it be better to arrange a meet at service station somewhere on the motorway so all could get there easierly?
got the funds available, wednsdays and sunday are good for me

Re: Remap in Yorkshire

A service station off the M1 might be a good option, once we have 5 definates I'll see where we are all coming from and pick the most central position if thats ok by everyone. I don't mind travelling.

Regards

Alex

i can see a problem with dates and times now :-(
do angel work on sundays?

you have a PM Alex... put me on the list, I'm in the lakes (cumbria) but am willing to meet any distance up to about 100 miles, will give time for a good "test drive" on the way home... went out for the day today, and although the car provides effortless overtaking ability, the fact that you can't trounce a 2.0tdi (PD140) audi A3 annoys me.... never had that problem in the skoda! lol... *sharkrider chants "more power, more power........." (y)

Im also very interested in this, tried to sort a group discount thing out a few months ago but couldnt get enough people together, seems better this time. When is everyone looking at doing it, need to make sure funds will be available, etc. I would generally prefer a day in the week as my day off is farily flexible but im sure i could make an exception for a sunday. Im in Coventry btw, will obviously travel within reason to make it work though.

Im assuming the 20% is off £350, therefore meaning we are looking at £280. Is that right?

Rich
