james, something I've seen on ebay Germany would really suit your car, someone is selling chromed door handle caps and inserts and mirror caps, would suit grey or silver GP,but not my red one,may be worth a look to see what you think, would match your wheels, john

took me five minutes, heat the lettering up with a hair dryer for 30 seconds and slide some fishing line behind the letter and pull the line across the letter and it will come off, and then just remove the adhesive with your hands and give it a good clean at the end. i was thinking about abarth badges for the front and back as well, how much are they? would you say to get black ones?

think il be doing the same to my motor....i think the badge looks pants on my crossover black.

well worth 30 mins of my time to take it off lol(y)

30minutes haha, thats what i thought but seriously it leaves absolutely nothing to get off just heat it up use the fishing line and your done, peel off the adhesive then wipe over with a sponge you will be suprised at how quickly you can get it done. it took me and my mate 15minutes to do the gp and his m**i it reli is tht easy.

sweeeeeet.

cant wait to get mine off......just havent got any fishing line. Could use cotton or something though i suppose. Or get you to come round and do it LOL

cheers ant....got loads of that stuff.

I will give it a go in a bit me thinks.....beautiful day for it....enjoy your sunbathing(y) (y)

sorted,,,,, got the punto sign off (took 2mins)....the dental floss worked a treat. Looks so much better. Cheers for the advice(y)

I too thought it would like better without, mines a 120 crossover black. I poured a little hot water down the back of the letters, they slid off without the need for hairdryers, dental floss or anything else. Just gave it a quick wax all over and you would never know there was anything missing.

I have the abarth badges front, back and steering wheel, they were from
www.abarthbadges.com

You can also get from ebay, but just seem to be the same as from the company above but more risk getting invloved in ebay and seem to be about the same price level.

You also get small badges for the alloy wheel centres but decided to leave these off. You'll see why if you get them as part of the set as I did.

Lol, this would be true but its the same guy selling them, (I bought both from him and www.abarthbadges.co.uk)

I myself have put the badges on the front, wheels, steering wheel, and boot. (Pictures posted in the members motors part)

Anywho back to the original post, looks far better without the badge, first thing i took off... no wait only thing...

Na.... hairdryers dont get that hot.....dont use a paint stripper gun!

My paint is fine, only had to use the hairdryer on each letter for about 10 seconds
