Door remote control (Hawk 008) minimal installation

This is how I installed remote control for doors and boot. I don't have need for hazard signals when lock/unlock doors or door lock automatic opening when turning ignition off. Also window closing function is useless to me.

So if you want just remote control doors and boot, this guide is for you.

For boot lock you need also a relay.

First connect wires from Hawk unit and relay according this picture:

Remove battery negative terminal.

Locate BCU and connector E (circle). You can get +12V from arrow pointed wire:

Open connector and remove inner part by pushing it sideways from outer cover. Then you can locate pins 17, 19 and 30:

Connect wires from Hawk unit to connector wires and cut wires as shown in picture. Attach red wire to +12V and black wire to GND.:

And there you have it. Just put all parts together and reconnect battery terminal.

Enjoy your new remote controlled locks. I think this guide will be useful to any similar remote control units, not just Hawk.

Re: Door remote control (Hawk 008) minimal installation

Hi Jarmot,

Thanks for the great guide.

My remote key is not working and looking for some other solutions like this.
(Getting a new key is too expensive from the dealership)

Where can i buy this hawk unit, I already checked few other in their site.
didn't see one with orange color or the code you used. (Probably they have changed the color) but to make sure, can you share a link please.

Thanks.
Bob
