Mandatory tools

torx keys
opposite torx for lower steering column bolt
allen keys
flat and + screwdriver
socket wrench size 10, 13, long extension for steering column bolts

for bolt above city switch its easier to use torx or else its gonna take quite longer to remove it pic 171649

Attachment 180454

[BREAK=Bolts locations]

remove
  • both front doors
  • body ecu
  • whole steering column
  • fog lights switch
  • plastic below windshield- top of dash
  • radio- without proper tools just insert 4 small allen keys inside the 4 holes and pry it out with flat screwdriver- pic below
  • city switch
  • speedo clock
  • disconnect all cables or cut them
After all the bolts above are removed dash should pull out, if its not going out with ease then some bolt is still holding it

The GP uses RIBE (Polydrive in North America) type fasteners NOT Torx. While you can possibly manage to use a Torx driver it can damage the fastener and driver. Best to get the correct tool. I use these

Ribe bolts only appear in the engine bay Robert. In the cabin, Torx is king. Never seen any ribe on the interior
