I decided to write this guide to help with Dualogic gearbox problems after seeing a Brazilian mechanic that has a youtube channel and deals with Dualogic gearbox repairs. He channel is very popular (<i>search Motortech dualogic</i>) and has even had clients transport their cars from Sao Paulo all

Re: Dualogic troubleshooting Guide

Hi all,

1st of all, well done creating this guide. Thank you very much!!! Together with a couple of other ressources, I was able to replace the DC motor brushes for my DFN (aka selespeed, aka dualogic, aka cambiocorsa, ) .

car details:
Lancia Ypsilon 1.3 JTD (70HP) DFN [2004]
km: 153542

I took pictures along the way and created 2 pages:

motor disassembly: http://danaus.net/tolos/ypsilon22/
motor reassembly: http://danaus.net/tolos/ypsilon23/

If you hesitate starting such an operation, you shouldn't. If I can make it, you can make it!!! Of course you need patience, time, and as I mention in my checklist: "16 wait, think, pray, love, then reopen driver's door".

ForZzZa, and happy gear changes
Thanks varesecrazy thanked for this post

Hi, Sir, I got the OBD-Protect USB Interface cable for MultiECUScan, and carry out the procedure, as indicated and everything returned to normal, thank you very much

Hi,

(This part of the forum helped me already with the first 2 problems of my dualogic gearbox, thank you very much. I am still stuck in Neutral and shifting goes immediately to 6th gear, inexistant on the Panda)

I have a panda 2 2007 1.2 60cv dualogic, model 169xxx.
I have had several of the problems mentioned by the kind users:
1. Gearbox switching to N while driving - solved by adding some hydraulic fluid a few times then item 2 came.
2. Gearbox stuck in N with oil leak at sensor - sensor replaced (some 90eur of spare), drain hole in chamber cleaned, entire system cleaned, oil changed and immediately to item 3 here below.
3. Gearbox still stuck in N - we realise that the bakelite/plastic plug of the part 71732919 (eletropin to block the rod) was damaged (probably human mistake during the repair of item 2 here above). The electropin was replaced (other 200eur of spare). It doesn t work, we go to item 4 here below.
4. I am still stucked in N. The novelty is that when trying to put the first gear in, the put starts the robot does sth... and the display immediately reports it shifts in 6th gear, then goes automatically back to N (there are only 5 gears on the panda, plus N plus R).

Has anyone had after a repair had the robot shifting from N to 6 without going through the other gears? It seems highly probable it might be a measurement or a rod positioning issue but as I could not understand well the repair/reassembly process and especially:
1. the sensor preloading method )rotating to the end of it course)
2. rod positioning in mm
3. self-calib procedure
I guess the solution is probably at least ine of these 3 items but maybe someone already had the issue and knows what to do.
Thanks
P.

Re: Dualogic troubleshooting Guide

Hi,

my fiat panda 2014 at 55k mileage has issue dropping to N when shifting from 1st to end gear during acceleration. Any idea what causes it?

i have MES and it shows the error code
P060A-79 - Gear control value - Mechanical linkage failure

i also noticed that the hydraulic pressure drops from 50 bar to 40bar by itself in just 54seconds. Gear is just in Neutral. Is this normal pressure drops without changing any gears?

what do you think is the faulty?

Excellent, excellent guide

I had posted in the Idea section and got tipped to this section (thank you),

Replaced clutch, flushed system, Multiecuscan erase settings, set clutch calibration (300m full pick up 1st gear, switch off contact 10s), final calibration setting (goes through the gears itself).

Drives like a dream, one day later it slams 3rd to 2nd so hard it sometimes goes to N.

Any of you guys and gals know what’s going on?

Only real change every time is PIS spacing, pressure is 40bar+ at all times (actively drove around and tested)…

Re: Dualogic troubleshooting Guide

Hey all,

Can someone please tell me which gearbox the Doblo has in it?
Mine is a 2018 doblo with the 1.6multijet, dualogic gearbox.
I am asking because I was interested in tuning my van, but I have read the 5 speed dualogic is only good for 206nm, which is what my van currently has (200nm).
I would like some clarification on this. Any help is appreciated.

Thumbs up Re: Dualogic troubleshooting Guide

Hi, have a look at this site multiecuscan.net/SupportedVehiclesList.aspx as I found my 2015 Doblo type 263 has a CFC308 dualogic there. Cheers
