Re: Replacing the bulbs in the heater controls

been fiddling with it tonight, not taken anything apart, just twiddling the dials and it seems to have got the lights back working again....v.strange. The lighst have been playing up for a while, working then not working, then back working and now not working again for a couple of days until my fiddling about tonight. Any reason why they may be doing this? Have also noticed for a while now that the left hand side of my rev counter dial on dash sometimes looks less bright than the right hand side of the dial, and the fog light/dimmer buttons on the panel to the bottom right of the steering wheel is also sometimes very dim, but tonight has seemed reasonably bright and steady. Do I have a series of minor gremlins going on with my electrics behind the dash? I have a airbag warning light on too, although a garage has used diagnostic on this and its showing a "clock spring/squib/airbag spiral coil" fault and needs replacing, could this also be causing my other gremlins?

Anyone able to help of point me in the right direaction to find a guide/fix?
cheers
That ref. To 2012 was me...

I seem to recall a scandinavian member did the job and added some useful info.

SEARCH the threads for relevant terms..

Glad to say Ive not needed to touch my 2012..

TBH.. your issue sounds like a loose contact..or dodgy earth..

The clockspring should'nt be related...
But of course it MAY mean the wheel has been off before..adding to strange occurences.

So I was stupid enough not to look up how it's done... now all the clips have snapped!! any way I can change these or find a way to do the same thing as the clips were doing? (Not held in together as tight as before)
