If you care about your car (technical condition) and safety, collect the data from MOT brake tests and make yourself graphs like that.

Braking forces are not that critical, plus results differ from one MOT station to another. But you can still deduce "something" from it.


DIFFERENCES are most important and practical. Left/Right or Right/Left (really, stronger to weaker side). This is very useful to diagnose problems (analyze past and predict future ones).


Also, temperatures can tell a lot. Again, differences will tell the most. Example related to drum brakes. Surprisingly, the weaker side (lower braking force) was the one overheating.
