Re: Changing the rear speakers (Oh My!)

Wow! What a job! I`ve just finished doing this in my car and it1s not a job for the faint hearted. My advice is,if you decide to tackle it,don`t bother fitting rubbishy speakers. Fit the best speakers you can afford. I managed to fit components in,with the tweeter mounted above the front seat mount, angled towards the front. The plastic cover for the belt mount pulls away enough to run the tweeter wire down and into the door.
Yes,it`s a big job,but if my car is anything to go by,then well worth it.
Despite changing the fronts(easy peasy) I could not get enough treble. Now problem solved.
Worst job is getting the trim back properly.

Re: Changing the rear speakers (Oh My!)

Thank you very much! In the process of ripping out everything now, putting in 2x 80w RMS speakers I picked up cheaply, should make a bit of difference, twice as powerful as the factory ones!

Thanks for the help!

Do parcel shelf speakers fit in these? Think they're 6x9 inches
Cheers

No, 5.25" round. Also, 6x9's are crap.

Hi! This is the closest I have found to the sub! I just got one and thought it would be easy to install. How on Earth do I do the cabling? I was hoping the cable would be on eBay and I could just plug and play, I fear because I can't find a cable for it anywhere
