Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Grande Punto 1.4 Petrol, which is my first Fiat.

I was hoping if some of the senior members could suggest a good garage or mechanic who knows his/her Fiats in Southport.

Thank you

Hi. I live nearish to southport but unfortunately still go to Preston motorpark mainly for the convenience of a courtesy car. The service reception lady they now have seems much better and on the ball than previously and they've used my own selina supplied oil too. If you do find someone please share the experience.

Hi. Do you have an issue you are trying to deal with..or are just planning.

The GP 1.2 and 1,4 are not especially complex..or needy.

The GUIDES and FAQs should cover the basics.

Ive got a TA and MJ..

BIGGEST ISSUE.. top monts rusting :(

Yo Philboo! I ended up getting my oil and filter changed at Karwowski's, it was an okay experience and they told me I had a leaking oil sump that was being clogged up with sludge and had hence been missed on the MOT. They also let me use my own oil as well.
I'll keep you posted in case I come across anything better on my travels. Keep watching this space.

At least you’ve found somewhere to try. I supplied my own Selena oil (based on the oil thread) and also changed the plugs after the service myself for the iridium ones. Finally took it over to a recommended 4 wheel laser alignment place in Liverpool and had my 4 new tires and alignment done. As I expected the front was out and they’ve corrected it. Doesn’t feel hugely different but hopefully the uneven wear on one of the fronts will be fixed for a short time before all the pot holes knock it out again :-(
