I have bought many cars from my local fiat dealer (about 5 miles away) and have always been happy with the service I got, from buying my cars to the service I got, any problem I had was dealt with etc and I was happy...

But with my last car, I had a problem. My engine was vibrating unevenly while idling and it could be felt though the cabin (even posted this problem on these very forums 2 years back). Took car back, the mechanic said something was not right and booked it in.

Long story short, the garage check car out and turned round and said they was no fault and their own mechanic was wrong on this issue. OK I though, I took car to my own mechanic and he even said he could be the mountings. Took car back and the woman at the desk was really nasty and virtually called me a liar.

I was going to take things further but weeks later the problem went away, its still unknown to me to what was the problem was and since then until I changed my car, the problem never came back.

Fast forward to June 2014, I bought another punto but this time from a different fiat dealer about 30 miles away from were I live. And I swear down, I will never spend money at that fiat dealer ever again. Even now they ringing me up asking me if I want to change my car. (p.s im not naming the dealer)

Not naming the dealer(s) in question doesn't really help us if you're advising people to go somewhere else in your thread title!
