Finally, I always like on these occasions to put the boot into one or two companies which have
upset me. So I would like to mention just three: Currie Motors of Kingston – who many years
ago charged me for servicing my car when it was clear they had not touched it; General Accident
insurance, who bumped up my home insurance premium by 350% in real terms over the course
of 15 years which I only discovered when I moved to a larger house and more than halved my
premiums with someone else; and the tour operator JMC who lost my child’s buggy which,
when it eventually turned up was damaged and they do not seem to want to take ownership of
the problem.
Now as you can see by telling you this I am effectively making you feel negatively about these
companies so that if you are ever considering purchasing something they sell, you will recoil at
the sound of their name. This will lose them custom and make them far less profitable and
hopefully put them out of business. So just to recap: Currie Motors of Kingston, General
Accident Insurance and the tour operator JMC .

Currie motors are a bloody shambles!
Prime example - Ordered some touch up paint for my cinq, paid in advance for it & was told it'll take 2 days 'we'll call you when it comes in'..... 2 weeks later still waiting, rang them up & asked whats going on? Got told the guy I ordered it with hadn't put the order through & had gone on holiday for 2 weeks  They re-ordered the paint whilst I stood over them (just to check they did it), & 6 weeks later it finally arrives, after being fobbed off on a daily basis by the monkeys working there as to why it hadn't arrived! During this time I did not receive a single apology for their f*ck ups!

This is just one minor example of how poor they are, I could spend all day going into different stories of their failings. I was quite chuffed when they originally changed from being a Toyota dealer to a FIAT dealer. Unfortunately myself & everybody else I know who has dealt with them would still rather order parts from the net & wait for them as it is still be quicker!

LOL... the 'Oh yes we've serviced your car' trick is as old as the hills. Happened to me at a VW dealer, they couldn't even be bothered to move the car from its parking space, or reset the service light when they finally did wave a spanner in its general direction.

Used to be a toyota dealer... I can't say there were ever that many complaints about the place in all the time I worked there.
