hi am helping someone can help,,
i have a fiat punto 02 reg 1.2 engine
when driving i notice a droning noise sounding like its coming from the rear( also a friend noted it to a dragging noise!!!, )mainly on braking,sometimes just when driving,
i have to say i havent noted it whilst driving at speed just when slowing down or at like 30 mph !
it did seem to disapper at one time but its a back again this time with vengence,
i wondered what the worst and the best case senarios could be ,(the mechanic i like to use is a way for a week )
any help pls

sounds like a rear wheel bearing mate. jack up the rear end and take the handbrake off, spin the wheel and listen. shouldnt cost too much to repair mate, normally around £60-80

I used to have a droning noise coming from my nearside. cured it now though, I don't let the OH in the car :devil:
