OK So.... this was once Caledonia and gets mixed reaction on this thread
https://www.fiatforum.com/garages/62849-caledonia-fiat-blackburn.html

But, I think its time to spin this one the other way with a positive review of their sales staff.

A member of the family has recently ordered and shortly will recieve her new FIAT Panda. After seing one outside of the dealership as the scrappage scheme ended she decided to place an order.

A quick email to Gary James at Blackburn motorpark started to prove that these days, they know what they are talking about and actually know how to sell a car. Gary suggested to us that the Panda that we had seen was now no longer available but to pop down for a chat.

On arrival I was surprised to have a good 5 minutes browsing time around the lot without a certain member of staff swooping down from the sky like a vulture. Previous experiences with this have also included being harassed whilst at the service desk, and upon the realisation that I'm here for a service (yeah funny that being in the Queue for service isn't it) then he just walks away, or makes some frosty comment before walking away.

Never the less, this time if he was in the building he kept himself tucked away and we went to ask for Gary who came over and was very knowledgable and discussed the current status of the scrappage scheme and any offers that were available at the time.

The car was ordered a day or two later with a delivery estimate of mid may, however since then Gary has been regularly in touch and it appears the car is now at the dealership awaiting prep.(y)

A massive thumbs up to Blackburn Motor Park from me this time, and especially to Gary for being freindly, polite and most of all honest and getting us the very best price on the new Panda and an almost unbelivable trade in on the old Micra.(y)

The only thing I can now fault, but I think we knew this would happen is that Glynn (The Dealer Pricipal) promised to be active on the forum etc....and like many DP's in the past dissapeared into the mist as soon as he appeared :bang:
