Fantastic expertise, prices and service for Fiats, Alfas and other makes at CM Garage Services in East Kilbride - see their website. Used them 3 times now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Chick is brilliant on the diagnostics and communication and will go out of his way to save you money. Wife Lynette does the bookings etc and they are a great team - you will not be disappointed. Guaranteed! And no, I'm not on commission! It's just great to find a real enthusiast you can trust. Paul Smith.

Went here today to sort out my Brake Fluid Low issue, called yesterday for a rough price, explained what i'd done previously, Chick took the car into the workshop, hooked up examiner, tested the wiring to and from the sensor, (also fixed sticky brake switch which i was going to do myself) that came and hit my bank account hard, (cheaper than he quoted) and also charged for half an hour, (car was delivered at 9:15 and i left at half 10)

BRILLIANT service so i've booked my MOT in there for next month (partly down to timescale to fix the body computer issue)

Not trying to sound nasty but...
I used CM before when I had a Seicento Sporting, I had nothing but problems.
The last time I went, Chick told me that my cooling fan wasn't working & that as a result it had blown the Head Gasget.
What a load of ******** he was telling me.
The cooling fan did work after rallycinq discovered that the fuse tray was back to front.
Then when I told Chick I had a Head Gasget set at home, he tore up his paperwork in disgust, he was wanting to charge me over £1k, then either Chick or one of his mechanics, bent 2 spark plug electrodes, so the car was firing on 2 cyclinders.
I couldn't stop at Junctions as the car would cut out if I stopped.

thats not so good, could you not of done the work yourself? i've ended up not taking the car there for it's MOT as the gearbox mount snapped on the stilo last month,

Had a similar experience of Chick's "temper" when questioning some of the work done on a car. Poor communication skills were the order of the day along with a really bad attitude and swearing. Not how to talk to customers whether they are right or wrong in my opinion. Also, had to constantly phone to find out what was happening with the car as no information was forthcoming from the garage. In addition, I had to suggest to them what to try to fix the car based upon what I had read on this forum - which was correct incidentally. Finally, the car comes out of the garage with a new fault along with broken plastic hinges that were fine prior to entering. Needless to say, I fixed these myself and will be working on the car myself from now on.
I don't doubt they might know their stuff, but the customer service really was lacking and that alone is enough to put me off going back - never mind the careless and needless snapping of things.
Sounds like a well rehearsed routine when they don't do things properly maybe? A shame, because my first impressions of this place were good.:(
