Can anyone recommend a ramp rental facility within 15-20 miles of the RM17 (Thurrock area). Something similar to these people http://www.rent-a-ramp.com/. Or even if you know of somebody who would be willing to rent me their ramp for a day.

The only one I know of is Pit Start in Acton, unfortunately it's a bit more than 20 miles away.

Oh man this is something i need to find near me in Lancashire.

£9.50 per hour - jeez, they sure know what to charge.
When I wanted to do major work on my motor I bought a cheapo gazebo and tarps from the local cheap shop, drove my car onto the ramps & put the gazebo over the front end & fixed the tarps to the sides. Tied off the gazebo to the car & it made a nice temporary garage for winter working (not as warm as a proper garage but by keeping out the elements it felt a lot warmer inside.)
