Next month, i go into my 3rd year. So ive got to start thinking about where to service/mot my car (as i will be a fool if i went back to fiat again).
I live in bristol, so has anyone got any good recommendations?

I was thinking about getting the mot side of things done by fiat? as they have changed the steering column about four times(.....see what im getting at).

any ideas. thanks.

Try finding a good garage from here... I did and I am so happy I just had my cambelt kit and MoT done by the Independent of choice.

Goodgaragescheme, highly recommended, I used it & ended up with an excellent local indy who I used some years ago when I was driving Vauxhall's.

£40.00 an hour as opposed to Fiats £70.00 an hour.

And I trust the guy.

I used a Fiat specialist listed on the links page of this site. I used him for the 2nd year epxensive service as I wouldnt pay Fiat prices. This hasnt affected my warranty and he was nearly £300 cheaper. Look at the links at the top right.

If you are planning to use a Fiat dealer, cross the border and try LC Motors in Cwmbran. Small garage, quality service, very approachable, reasonable prices, they ironed out all warranty issues right and proper. The fact I drive 70 miles to get there bypassing 4 dealers closer to me, speaks volumes of the service I receive from them. They are the best Fiat dealer in South Wales by quite some margin...(y)

But, as usual, shop around!

Thanks for all your feedback. Also, should i worry about getting the service warning turned off? (when it eventually comes on)

That will go off all on its own after a few hundred miles.

Its the Service Required indicator in the Menu that needs re-setting by a Fiat Examiner or whatever. I just keep all my receipts so I can show its been regularly and properly serviced.
