went there today for some work on my car that is a dealer only job.
excellent service and every thing was explained to me in detail, found out that there was nothing wrong with a part that i was going to replace so has saved me a days work too.

i got the punto mk2 airbag fix done too the part only cost about the same as a pint and a half of beer and very little labour, go get yours done (y)

I always found Desira, Diss, most helpful, efficient and competitive for spares for my previous Fiat cars, so much so that I bought a new 1.4 Idea from them. Unfortunately, I discovered a manufacturing defect in the construction of the body shell. Fiat UK became involved and offered to repair it, but I was not prepared to have what I considered to be a potentially fatal flaw simply filled and resprayed so I demanded a new replacement vehicle. After some considerable time, with letters, email and faxes flying around, the sales manager phoned me and offered a brand new replacement, which, of course, I gratefully accepted. Fiat UK were of no help whatsoever - Desira had to deal with it.
When I was in the market for a new Panda, I asked them to quote, but my enquiry went unanswered, so I've obviously blown it with the dealer. Pity, but in some ways, understandable. I would still recommend them though.:)

Norwich branch always excel when buying parts - especially helpful for my Alfa 166:)
As for the Diss branch - don't trust them as far as I can throw them - totally messed up rear brakes on 166, passed a clearly failing car for mot! and have also left greasy fingerprints all over cream leather seats before now!!

Completly agree. Are Alfa Parts from the same bit as Fiat Parts? (around the back and too the left?)

I got given trade discount when ordering bulk (£800) of parts earlier this year, and the chap (can't remember his name), most helpful! :)

Yes that's the place and they are really helpful. Nothing seems to much trouble and they can sometimes help with the price. They automatically give me the discount for having a Fiat card without the need to ask. Interestingly their prices seem better than many of the internet spare places the EGR valve for my Bravo is over £150 less from Fiat than elsewhere on the net. It also has the advantage of being the correct part and having a proper warranty. Supply and fitting by Desira is less than Motor parts direct just for the part!
