Introduction
Here we go (just for Liam), the Bismarck mk II, a fine piece of German engineering. BMW 330d sport 2004 (manual gearbox), lots of horses, lots of torque (and to think I used to be scared of hills, now they're scared of me ), fab handling for a big car (far stiffer than the Brava), very comfortable and elegant, lots of gizmos and gadgets It scares me a bit, especially the fact it's so smooth and relaxed, especially at high speeds. And I'm not sure I love it, though it's certainly nice! As for mods, well most of it's done but I would like to upgrade the headlamps, a remap and possibly a retrim but that's it.
The day I went to look at it (missing centre cap replaced)
What passes for a spoiler on a BMW
Bismarck and Blancmange together in the works car park
Back end - please note parking sensors which are handy since I can't see where the car ends
Beeeeeeeeeeeg wheels
Interior - wanted all Alcantara as I don't much like leather and finding a black leather interior (which was second choice) is about as hard again, so had to settle for half Alcantara so there's a retrim in the offing!
