Introduction
Well, as it doesn't seem to matter what car you own on here any more, I thought I'd finally show my Vdub
Its a 1982 Mk1 GTi "Zender"
Its a completely standard LHD Belgian Import, with only one previous owner
It was a dealer demo, so was pretty optioned up, including some really retro options. the only thing it hasn got as far as i know are the alloys, which he swapped for a 4 speaker LED Pioneer Tape deck
until about recently, its been stored in New Zealand, so it hasn't been exposed to the rainy ****e of England, so hasn't become rusty ****e like most Mk1 Golfs
In fact, this very car was the very first car I even rode in (back in 1986), so I'm rather attached to it, even tho it isnt italian
At the moment, its waiting for us to finish building the new brick garage so that we can start repairing it properly, as the current garage is a leaky small pressed asbestos thing....:yuck: )
