Introduction
Hi Chaps/Ladies.
I have owned quite a few different cars ( among them a panda 100hp) but I had an itch to scratch in the shape of a Cinq sporting!
So after a look about I have ended up with this R plate example.
Its in great nick! 54k from new and was cheap! - can anyone tell me what alloys are on it? look puntoish!? - no rust, unmarked interior and well i love it.
This car is doing the 1400 mile round trip to my annual pilgrimage to the lemans 24hrs and I like my cars to be perfect so I have a list of things that need doing! -
The rear wiper arm is inoperative ( suspect motor as there is power)
The car has the incorrect front badge and has been debadged ( badly) at the rear ( where can I source some badges?!)
CV joint going on the outer passanger ( slight but changing because its no work really to sort)
Speedo not working ( The cable was broken but then so was the plastic speedo drive in the gearbox) I have one on order from fiat then I need to work out how to fit it!
Crack in rear bumper so im going to get it resprayed
And thats about it!
Oh the clutch cable went but it happened to break just outside of eurocarparts! so i went back in got a cable and did it in the carpark
I have since driven it from bath to the middle of somerset, down to surrey and back in a day! its happy at outside lane speeds so it should be fine for the jaunt to lemans.
