The steering wheel paint had worn off so after prep work I sprayed with 3 light coats of etch primer, followed by 6 light coats of high temp wheel paint finishing with a few coats of clear. Then onto removing the dashboard as it has two major splits, this took just over an hour to remove, mobile phone came in handy for photos, just in case I forgot where bits went. Decided to have the dashboard reskimmed in Melbourne even though it could be 8 weeks, but I am not game to repair it myself and try and match the dash colour.
