Introduction
Hello i have a Fiat Bravo from 2009 i bought it 2 years ago with 77xxx kms, when i drove the car home it vibrated really bad, it had 2 broken axles replaced those and a short while later they both broke again.... After a year of driving i had a idea to put a bigger turbo on it so i gathered all the parts and begun with the journey, i installed a garret gbc 22-350 and a gmc racing tubular manifold, it was a lot of work to make it all fit. My friend needed to make a custom water pipe for the manifold because there was no clearance. we did a lot more upgrades like a 2,5 inch exhaust upgraded sensors and injectors, car drove good on the stock tune so i had high hopes, 2 weeks after the installation i went to the dyno for a custom remap, the turbo had horrible boost creep and we blew the headgasket due to headlift (2 bar of pressure) well we did get 292 hp but the car needed to go back home on a trailer, the car set at my friends place for 4 months because we both had little time to fix the car.
When we had the time we got the cylinder head off and indeed the gasket was damaged bad! i brought the cylinder head away for skimming, cleaning and a leak test, the head was ready after 1 day later, my friend and i put everything back together with a thicker head gasket (1,67mm) and ARP Head studs. Installation went smooth. i decided to ditch the garret turbo and go for a smaller pulsar turbo and it was a great choice. Shortly after the installation i went back again for tuning and it was doing great and ended up doing 260 hp on 4 month old gasoline
Now the car is in my garage waiting for the winter and im planning to forge the engine and going next level im aiming at 400+ hp
Sorry if this is hard to read my english is not perfect.
