Diesel heater

Bought bluetooth/remote control Vevor 8k split diesel heater in Black Friday sale for my x244. Not sure whether to connect to main fuel tank or use supplied tank. Suggestions please for extra kit needed/ issues or advice on using existed. Have looked at youtube so familiarising myself as best I can. Thanks for reading.
