Introduction
Fiat ducato 3 litre panel van in grey. 6 speed manual.
issues had thus far:
- pair of drive shafts plus one had to be replaced after 30k ( ebay for you!)
- pair of gearbox shaft seals
- 3 clutch slave cylinders
- new clutch kit
- clutch master cylinder
- 2 gearbox changes
- discs and pads front
- discs, pads and shoes rear
- handbrake cables
- radiator
- starter motor
- 2nd hand brake servo
- new MAF ( eml turbo fault code )
- inlet manifold gasket
- intercooler hose at front of engine ( split)
- new coolant bottle
- powersteering cap off a newer model ( apparantly pevents water ingress )
- new front bumper plastics
- seats from a 2022? Citroen relay
- rear light clusters
- reversing camera
- dead locks, hasp, plates round door handles
- 5 replacment door lock ( vandalism )
- 2nd original radio and code
- outside sill repair kit.
- black door cards
- 2x pair of door mirrors
- short sidepanel trim piece
- water pump
- 3 batteries ( now running a larger than standard ' stop-start' battery)
- rear door hinges
- intermitant rear- ight ABS sensor fault, due to wire routing round chassis- rots out.
- pair of track rods
- 2 pair of lower ball joints.
- pair of complete front struts ( with top mounts and springs)
while some jobs i have tackled myself, other jobs , like the gearbox 2nd swap, i paid a garage to do it, after struggling to do it myself previously. Same for the front strut.
