Just COD3 which I have on the 360 and Motorstorm, both are unopened and I spoke to the local game shop, I know the guy who runs it very well and he'll take it all off my hands in a couple of weeks if I leave them all wrapped.

I'm not writing off the PS3, I'll probably buy another one in a couple of months when and if some good titles come out. But I am wanting the money at the moment to put towards a new Takamine guitar.

Well I play the guitar more often than I play any video games lately. What with working on the things day in day out I want to do something different and I don't get as much time as i'd like to play the guitar. I'd play 5 or 6 hours a day if I had the time :slayer:
That used to be the case for games, but I go in and out of gaming for long periods, I'm on an outie right now :D

sony are sending me a free copy of casino royale (blu-ray) as i was one of the first to join upto the ps3 'live' thingy. which tbh i can't complain about. i'm still entertained by my ps3 but i just wish there are more games available as there's a very limited range at the moment. but online gaming is good especially on CoD3

I'm still loving F1, its great, who cares what mags say its alot better than people think.:slayer:

i don't do that well at that. its no fun without collisions on. and i always lose wheels  but it is a great game and the cars handle like they should do (usually) which isn't always a good thing when you play it like i do:( no heavy braking and turning round hairpins. and my other criticism of it is the outside above views, they're more behind than above you you can't see ahead. but i prefer the camera above the drivers head. makes it like the lap previews they show on the telly(y) only not quite as good lines through the corners.

Agreed.

Bought my PS3 today after a couple of weeks of deciding if to wait or not, I took the plunge and bought F1 with it and I have to say its boomin' great! Its a LOT bigger than I imagined and so silent you can't even tell its on.

F1 is fantastic, really love the 'Career' mode.

It needs pushing further back Jamie, you can still see it in that pic (y)

I hooked up my brothers PS3 on me tele this morning and I have to say..........

Mine was sold an hour later for just £40 less than it would have cost me if I'd bought it myself

COD3 was crap in comparison to the 360 version, and F1 :yuck: I stand by what I said. My brother had a go on my 360 while he was here and he's regretting not listening to me when I told him which console he should get. Gears of war blew him away as did all the 360 games I showed him.

Seriously unimpressed but I am going through a stale phase ATM and I am not really playing any of the consoles, when I do I tend to go for the easy option where I don't have to get up from the couch and I put on a VC game or an arcade title. I love the lazy aspect of these things (y)
Steam has always been a favourite way for me to buy games because again I don't have to get up to get the CD's (y)

I will get another PS3 sometime in the next few months when gaming takes centre stage again and they come up with some good titles.

me thinks you may change your mind when new and much more games become available. but personally i would of kept the ps3 til then anyway. but then if you manage to buy one when it's cheaper than you sold it, fair enough. you can tell it has a lot more to give but as i said in a previous post there's only about a dozen games available at the moment, but by christmas there should be a lot more, and if prices rocket up i may sell mine for more than i paid, though i shall hold my breath. although selling it would be a shame. it's really good and kept me entertained for quite long (i have a very short attention span) i must admit to growing bored of the ps2 after a short time with limited games but the ps3 has FREE online gaming so it is almost endless in what happens, in one game. i know xbox live is becoming free (eventually) but the ps3 has a lot more to offer, but at the moment it may appear to be falling behind.

to be fair most ps3 games are lazy cash in ports.as is often the way and i dont doubt the ps3 capabilities.
however the ps3 and 360 both have strangths and weaknesses.
the cost of xbox live is a moot point as M$ can address that quickly if the market deems it.
however whislt the ps3 has the capabilities its supposedly tricky to program for(remember the saturn?) and the cost is an issue with price drops already 2 weeks into the UK launch

Everybodys entitled to there own opinion and I honestly think the PS3 (games-wise) is a lot better than the 360. I think the 360 relys too much on FPS games and that fanbase. I've only played F1 and VF5 on the PS3 and they're both fantastic! F1 is one of the best driving games I've played, its really addictive and TBH I've never played a game on the 360 yet thats done that to me (apart from Pro Evo!!) and I've owned it for nearly 2 years

the things you are complaining about are by the game designers rushing to release games not the console.

do you not remember the PS2?

at first that wasnt so fantastic, then the game designers made better games and then sony said "oh wait a minute, you can actually stick a HDD in it now and play online games"

PS3 will be the same, none of the current games will be taking advantage of its rediculous processing power.

Don't try and convert Custard, he is well and truly a carefully molded Xbox 369 FANBOY.:D

He has been to Uni and everything.(y)

Note to self, must stop buying things and save for 360 Elite,,,,,,,,
