theres a store near me dedicatd to retro gaming, the idea will be over time to get back an atari, snes, megadrive, et al, for a retro section to the a/v set up. sometimes its great just to play rather than have to learn it! gunstar heroes rule!!!!!!!

i occasionally dig out the n64 for the old golden eye

its okay i run them all on emulators on my xbox

What was the top one - Atari 2600? I seem to remember when I was very young one of my mates had something like it, at the time it was amazing!

The most old-skool consoles I've got are a Master System II and a Game Gear (which was crap because 6 AA batteries only lasted about half an hour!). Used to have an Amiga 1200 but that got sold for £20 (complete with colour dot matrix printer! Remember those?!) when I got a PC 6 years ago... wish I'd kept it now, they're starting to go up in value, and it was boxed with all the original stuff too! Gutted!

know that feeling.had a more recent multi mega(a mega drive,mega cd all in one unit) that i sold to get a saturn.

I was a Sega boy myself - Master System 2 and a Mega Drive 1. Then my Master Sytem gave up the ghost so I bought the Master System convertor for the Mega Drive :devil:

And I used to spend hours playing Sensible World of Soccer 95-96 on my old A500 That 'broke' through old age - I never forgave my mother for throwing it out I had a stupid amount of games for that (it was a second hand amiga that my parents got me one christmas) - about 120+

I have a Sega Saturn sitting next to my TV, complete with steering wheel. It's not mine though, it's sammiboo's. I'm not sure whether it's here because she just wants less junk at her parents house, or whether she still thinks it's cutting edge technology...

I have my Master System II under my bed, still works I dug it out recently and had a bash on the Alex Kidd game that's built in... ahhh... the good ol' days

man i forgot how ugly those atari jaguars were.

I had the atari st, i've had all the nintendo ones (can't beat a bit of NES duckhunt), had the spectrum... which was the pong one, we had one of them, but it was my brothers (he's 10yrs older n me) had a 3DO as well... that was the dogs.. but only had one game...

had a Phillips CDi.. too, good for 2 games.. some wild west shooter, and Voyeur (guess what that was)

Went through the whole run of Sega MasterSystem, Mega drive, Mega CD, and the other one... had that hand held thing which i swapped for a game boy i've still got...

i've still got an Amiga 500 and a commadore 64 somewhere...

And i'm currently looking to offload my N64 cos my copy of Goldeneye broke, and i don't have time for games...Always wanted a neo geo, but they were top dollar.

And as for more modern consoles, sold my ps2 a year or 2 back so i could afford flights to gothenburg to the festival...and that's the last one i've bought...
