edit:also with regard to price drops of consoles. you will generally find sony will drop it prices faster and more than M$. theres a simple reason for this,sony are a hardware manufacturer and tend to design & manufacture all of there own components. M$ are primarily software and buy there hardware from 3rd party manufacturers so have less control and margin to cut hardware costs

Well I get the games I work on for free. The company I work for has been making a 360 game for the last couple of years but that game was coming from a seperate section that I wasn't involved with. Now they are porting the game over that I was working on so I will get the 360 and the game for free, even though I won't be directly doing any 360 work myself as all my input has been done to the PC version. I build maps/levels, they don't need changing for the 360 because it can handle the game at it's full capacity
I'll also get xbox live gold membership paid for because we intend to use it's video conferencing abilities when they release the hardware for it.

As for discount on other 360 games Not from work. BUT I know a guy who works at game and he can apparently get me a 25% discount on all goods Although I have not used his discount yet so I hoping he's not giving me the old bullsh*t

I think it's worse knowing that there are people out there playing a machine and you haven't got one, rather than everyone waiting till there's enough to go around.
