The ones for ITX motherboards come in around the £30 mark for an 80watt one, I should expect that the PS2 will be a similar price.

when i fitted a telly and ps2 in my sei it was pretty easy, just make sure you know what you doing with wiring or you break something

i ran the invertor from my amps, for some reason it told me i needed 2 earthing points, i was lucky cause i just connected them to the earths on both my amps

i plugged the sound output from ps2 into one of my amps

the telly i bodged together so it ran from the fag lighter, but that didnt work too well and went on fire :(

I have my I.C.E setup so that I have a distributer block with a spare slot but I don't want to run it off my standard car battery cos it won't take long for a PS2 to flatten it. Would be nice to run it off it (would be a lot cheaper).

should have about 30 mins if battery is good

could always leave engine running, saves hassle

my mate got a bigger ampage battery on his corsa  , that lasts ages and hes running far to much of one battery

30 mins lol. My plan was to get a leisure battery (the kind u get in caravans) and stick it in the boot, then get a split charge circuit installed so I can charge it from the alternator. Two slight problems with this: Those leisure battery's weigh a ton so its going to slow my car right down and also I have to fit all this and I am not the most technically gifted person :(

The leisure batteries that weigh a ton would run your PS2 for about a year. There are much smaller gell batteries about like ones that go in computer battery backups.
