Okay I will list the components that I believe I need below and you guys can add to it or correct it please

1. Playstation 2 (obvious).
2. Second high ampage car battery to power PS2.
3. Split charge relay to charge second battery from alternator (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Free_UK_Del...odule_37767.htm)
4. Battery charging regulator so that the second battery isnt over-charged (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx...rldID=&doy=21m6 ).
5. LCD screen (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....5781869065&rd=1).
6. 240v Power Inverter.
7. and finally some way of plugging the ps2 audio into my car stereo.

i told you you will have to do a cable hack in a ps2 AV cable and add a switch probably to stop it screwing up when you switch between headunit and ps2

You could get an 8" 16:9 lilliput monitor for £104 + VAT think thats an inch bigger than the one in the Ulysee.

Would rather not do any hacks mate, not sure how that would even interface into the stereo mate. As far as I am aware I only have 2 pre-outs and an AUX socket spare on my stereo.

Where from? I wonder if I could do this setup so that I can plug a variety of things into it, i.e. PC, DVD player, PS2. If so then I would be better off with a touchscreen in front right?

The FM transmiters are v.good quality after all it's only 2metres away from your aerial at the most...

I did have a decent one before i got bored of ICE....

the one in the ulysee is 16:9 also isn't it?

i think it was..... it had quite a poor resolution on it tho....

So if I want a touch screen one it's £150?

Lilliput screens are good quality. That touch screen, I've used (used to have it) and its good, you won't be able to use the touch screen features with the ps2 though, its a pain in the arse to get it setup on a PC, the drivers are dodgy... oh and its a lilliput.

Ulysse does have a 16:9 screen on it - also came with a 7 seater built round it, pulling out 165bhp

Your probably right though its pointless getting the touch-screen version as I won't be putting a pc in there. 7" might be a tad small though. Do they have a high quality 8" version on ebay?

not without touchscreen sorry... 7" isnt so bad its atleast equal to the on in stus car if not a bit bigger...

Okay least I have my list now. All I need to find is a dirt cheap PS2 cos after the LCD screen thats going to be my biggest expenditure.
