Re: Any good PC Games?

CAS and UoC are only a couple of systems away from each other, once you guys are done with the basic training missions you'll probably be in the same place anyway. I'm trying to remember where I started - Clacille I think - most Gallenteans seemed to end up in Clellinon after not too long :)

Well I succumbed and downloaded and installed Eve today - thanks for the 21 day trial Eklipze3k

It seems I too went down the Gallente route and now in the Centre for Advanced Studies - in game name is 'Stu DemonD'

Just messing with GFX settings at the mo, still need to run the tutorial - and find out exactly what I need to do, so much going on - but I really need to do some work today

At this rate I might need to train leadership skills and start an FF Corp, lol.

Re: Any good PC Games?

Indeed - how about I split out all the Eve related chat in this thread into another one [there was one started a few months back by another member].

Will make it easier if all in one place.

Re: Any good PC Games?

So I take it you can add friends in game? It is all too much to take in right now, not helped by a hangover that is easing :D

I will confirm my position later on - but it definitely begins with the letter C :chin:

Yep - "People and Places" button on the left, type a name into the Search box, once it's located them right click and Add Contact. You can adjust your personal standings (which basically allows you to add contacts for people who've killed you at a poor standing, so that you know to kick their ass next time you see them!). Sending a notification will let the other person know that you've added them, and allows them to add you in return.

As I said to Russ and Sam, crack on with the training missions, once you're done with that you should have very nice selection of ships, you should also get a request from the Sisters of EVE to go on what's known as an 'Epic Mission Arc', basically it's a long string of missions with an underlying story - get's you plenty of ISK and good standing with the Sister's which is very useful.

I suspect you're going to be in Clellinon or Clacille immsmc.

Yes, your memory does serve you correct - it is definitly one of those, will log back in later and confirm and also add friends.

I will crack on with the training missions later on this evening :)
