Should be coming soon to PSN. It's by the same company that make EVE:Online, set in the same universe and the idea being that we spaceship pilots and corporation will be able to hire you PS3 mercenaries to fight on the ground for planets we wish to control, which should make for some epic PvP battles, and some fantastic stories to add to the already rich player-driven universe. So who can I count on to fight my corner and defend my infrastructure?

For anyone worried this is going to be one of those games you'll have to pay-to-play, it's being launched on a free-2-play model (minus the initial cost of the game of course), you have the option to purchase items but they are purely cosmetic and will have no bearing on making you better than anyone else just because you can pay for stuff!

I really do hope that they bring this onto PC as well as PS3, but as I understand it they want to keep the EVE/DUST markets separate even if they do occupy the same universe. I can't wait to see it go live properly on Tranquility, I really hope it's successful and EVE/CCP finally gets the recognition it's/they're deserving of

Would make a far better PC game IMO. Shooters on consoles just don't do it for me.
